A rare mid-century DS-44, handcrafted in Switzerland and upholstered in De Sede’s celebrated buffalo “Neck” leather. This material is known for its exceptional thickness—up to 5mm—yet remains remarkably soft and supple. The natural grain, prepared in true aniline form, reveals beautiful variations in tone and texture that only improve with age.

The sculpted silhouette, deep channeling, and generous proportions give the DS-44 its signature presence. With a simple movement, the seat extends forward, transforming the sofa into an ultra-deep lounge or daybed. A functional design detail that adds both comfort and versatility.
