Expertly crafted by Ejvind Johansson for Ivan Gern, the Danish Modern teak Expandable dining table boasts a solid-teak frame with stretchers and elegant brass hardware. With its organic and sculptural design, this table is not only visually stunning but also practical, easily detaching for simple transport.
Note: Currently in original vintage condition. The price includes full restoration. The table will be carefully hand-sanded and refinished using Mohawk products, then triple-sealed for lasting protection. We don’t apply stains, toners, or added color — only a natural finish that preserves the wood’s original character. The extension leaves will be closely color-matched to the main table. Extendable on both ends.
While we strive for a flawless result, minor imperfections may remain — a natural part of its 50+ year history and charm. You can refer to our other dining tables to see examples of our restoration work. Lead time is approximately two weeks, and we’ll ensure this table is completed two days before Thanksgiving.
